A wedding cake & a really cool groom's cake

I had a wedding cake this weekend the cake was very simple with white fondant and celadon satin ribbon accented with calla lilies. The calla lilies were much bigger then expected and it took a little longer than I expected to come up with a design. But I think it was a really simple and elegant cake.




And while the wedding cake should be the center of attention this awesome little groom's cake might have given it a run for its money if you ask me. The body is cake while the wheels are rice krispy treats. It was made to look like the groom's 4-wheeler. The "just married" and cans were a last minute inspiration and made such a difference in the cake.
